Airbnb is a platform that helps travellers and people looking for short-term rentals to find hosts willing to rent their spare rooms at a low cost. As a traveller, you might have used Airbnb to find a place for a few days, and as a host, you’ve probably used it to make some quick cash. But did you know you could make money on Airbnb as a host — in addition to what you make by hosting?

Airbnb has a host referral program that makes it possible for host to make additional income by referring other people who have spare rooms. By doing so, the existing host stands to earn up to $440 per referral about 14 days after the new referred host has had their first guest. I have for a while wondered about the best way for me to bring in new hosts to the platform and make the extra cash. I’m pleased to share that I finally figured out what would work best for me, given that I do not have an actual affiliate marketing business. And this is an option many Airbnb hosts can use to increase their income potential on the platform, so long as the program is running.

The solution is this article. So if you are considering renting a spare room in your house or your apartment, please use this link to create and set up your account. By using this link, Airbnb will also pay you $40: https://www.airbnb.com/r/ulrichm4?s=39&t=131c0j

Don’t hesitate to reach out or comment and let me know if you have any question while setting up your Airbnb host account. I’ll be happy to share my thoughts as a seasoned host. Thank you for reading!
